NORA SCOTT JONES

My name is Nora Scott Jones. I’m a senior Theatre Directing major with a minor in music at Belmont University. I have a strong passion for directing and creating collaborative spaces in the arts. Most of my designs utilize color, shape, and light. My goal as a director is to create striking and purposeful images on stage. While I am grateful to direct any theatrical piece I may come across, my favorite genres to work with are expressionism, symbolism, musicals, and new works. Outside of directing, I have experience in performance, dramaturgy, stage management, intimacy coordination, fight coordination, dialect coaching, choreography, prop design, light design, sound design, and set design.
